Nintendo is seen as being one of the more family friendly console game makers. However, they do make games that go all the way up to M-rated, for people of all ages, and all interests. Not all of their games are appropriate across the board for everyone. Parents need to monitor which games they allow their kids to play, especially is they give their kids access to their wii iso download subscription.

One thing that I’ve never understood is how some parents will not let their kids play a certain game, like GTA for instance, but will let them watch older siblings play it. I don’t get it. But I digress.
Many parents who aren’t gamers themselves might not realize what is actually in the games. Some games might be fun for kids to play and might have interesting characters and plots, but then they will contain graphic material or language that is not necessarily kid appropriate. Other parents are overly fearful, and become concerned that playing games with mature themes can lead to their kids growing up to be criminals. The media has certainly done their part in playing up this fear. Research shows that neither extreme – of being too permissive or being overly fearful – is helpful.
There are methods for parents to be sure that they know exactly what is in the games that their kids are playing. Nintendo uses the the universal game rating system. (Not sure why it’s called universal – Do they use it in other galaxies?) Anyway, Nintendo puts a rating on every game box, as well as in the instructions, in advertisements, and on the DVD itself. If your kids are bugging you about downloading a game from your subscription “download full version games” site, you can look online to find the game rating before you grab the wii iso download.
Let’s talk about the ratings:
The lowest is the E for everyone rating. This rating means that the game is appropriate and fun for anyone no matter what their age or maturity level. It also generally means that kids who are at least 6 years old should be able to navigate through the game.
Another rating that is for kids is the EC, or Early Childhood rating. Games with this rating are designed for kids 3 to 6 years old. It also indicates that anyone over the age of about six or so might find them a tad simplistic and boring. These games are definitely not for you teenagers.
The next rating, going from low to high, is T for Teen. These games are designed for kids from about the ages of 13 to 17. Nintendo aims a lot of games at this market, and sees it as one of their core demographics. For the most part, you can feel good about these games for your teens, as they have plenty of action and cool graphics, but have only minimal amounts of violence and foul language, and zero sex, drugs, or alcohol
The penultimate rating is M for Mature. Nintendo also makes quite a few games in this category, although they might not promote them as heavily, since they want to be seen as family friendly. The ratings board indicates that M means that the game is for people 17 years of age and older. These games may have graphic violence, graphic language, depictions of alcohol use, and small amounts of sex and drugs. Depending on maturity level, some parents may let some teens play these games.
Finally, the AO rating stands for Adults Only. Nintendo doesn’t make very many of these games, although there are a few in their catalog. These games can be extremely graphic – this rating can have anything from graphic sex to rampant drug use. Not for kids or teens!
When you download wii games free online, it’s even more important to know about ratings, since there is no one to check Ids if your kids are doing the downloading. Just be vigilant and know which wii iso downloads they are grabbing.
It’s good to remember also that you can lock your Wii. This means that in order to play certain games, you have to have a password. This is what I do for my son with when I download full version games to the Wii. We’ve got so many, that it’s the only system that works for me. You should consider it as well.
